The largest Teryon Crisis update yet

Version 1.0 expands almost every part of the game: the campaign, multiplayer, skirmish rules, armies, AI, battlefield simulation, audio, accessibility and Steam integration.

1.0 at a glance

A campaign that branches

Six two-way decisions change your route through the campaign. The road not taken becomes an optional side operation, while completed routes grant assets for later missions: tanks, credits, research, reconnaissance or a gunship.

Act IV: Embers adds night river crossings, wind-driven fire, an offshore platform, a convoy lane, mined roads and a final operation where your commander must survive. Earlier missions have also been redesigned, and campaign progression now includes medals, veteran carry-over and War Room upgrades purchased with stars.

Multiplayer and new battle modes

Host battles for up to four human players, with AI commanders filling available slots. Play cooperatively, form two teams or fight every commander for themselves.

Connect through LAN, a six-character internet room code or Steam lobbies. Multiplayer includes map pings, quick chat, team chat, surrender and rematch controls.

Skirmish now supports five modes, four battlefield sizes, 13 stackable mutators, weekly operations and a nine-general challenge ladder. New commander heroes, battle plans, battlegroup call-ins and capture objectives create more tactical choices.

New armies, aircraft and progression

The Crimson Directorate gains the Inferno flame tank, Thunder rocket truck and Shock trooper. The Azure Coalition fields the Phantom stealth tank, Drone carrier and Arc trooper.

The new Airfield supports fighters, bombers and transport aircraft. Units earn experience through combat, spotting and captures, then choose perks as they become Experienced, Veteran and Elite. Stances, retreat orders and active abilities give each formation more control.

Smarter AI and a more dynamic battlefield

AI commanders use distinct personalities, expand their economies, attack from several directions, raid miners, use abilities and react to announced strategic strikes.

Battles now support a full day-and-night cycle, rain, storms and fog. Minefields, forest fires, collapsing bridges, rubble, craters and battlefield scars make terrain matter. A built-in map editor and automatic skirmish replays extend the game beyond the included battlefields.

Sound, languages and accessibility

The recorded soundtrack contains ten tracks that respond to battle intensity. Announcers and unit responses are voiced in seven languages. The interface, campaign text, Codex and subtitles are available in English, Lithuanian, German, Spanish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

Version 1.0 also adds hotkey profiles, HUD scaling, colour-vision options, subtitle controls, Story difficulty, improved training and a larger Codex.

Thank you for every battle played, every bug report and every idea. Version 1.0 was shaped by your feedback. See you on the front.
